Service Times & Events
All of our services and events are held in our church building at 402-12th Street N.E. Medicine Hat, Alberta. We are located in the community of Northeast Crescent Heights. There is ample off-street parking (East side of the church) as well as on-street parking on 12th street and 4th avenue. The upper church building is wheelchair accessible via a ramp in the parking lot. At this time the lower hall is not wheelchair accessible.
For those who utilize City Transit there is a bus stop on the East side of the property. Route 10 NE Crescent Heights will take you to the church. Please note that currently after 6:45 pm (Monday to Friday) and on Sundays the bus route is an "on demand" bus. Please visit Medicine Hat Transit for more information.
Morning Prayer: Sundays 9:00 am
The term "Morning Prayer" comes from the Latin: matutina which means "appertaining to the morning" and the service consists of: the saying of God's praises by the Psalms found in the bible, through a monthly cycle; the orderly reading of the Holy Bible; the use of various Canticles (ancient ones as well as scriptural ones); the recitation of one of the Creeds (our profession of our faith) and; the acts of prayers for the needs of the worshipers and of the intercession (prayers) for others.
Holy Mass: Sundays 10:00 am
Our service of the Holy Mass has been called by many different names down through the ages. It has often been referred to as: "The Lord's Supper"; "Holy Communion" (What is commonly used in the parish); "The Holy Eucharist"; "The Divine Liturgy"; "The Breaking of Bread"; "The Supper of the Lord's Table"; and other appropriate words to describe the coming together of Christians to worship God in praise, thanksgiving, and the receiving of the Body and Blood of Christ. For our visitors, all Christians who have been baptised with water "In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (or Spirit)" and confirmed within your own Christian tradition are more than welcome to receive Holy Communion.
Office Hours
As part of our continuing service to the parish and community of Medicine Hat, Holy Trinity offers weekly office hours. Please note that an appointment is highly recommended, as Fr. Glenn may be called away on an urgent matter and he can't guarantee that he will be in the church. Please refer to the Calendar and Services & Events schedule below, as there are days through the month when there are no office hours or the hours have been modified on a particular day.
Generally, the hours are as follows:
-Tuesday: 10:30 am - 2:00 pm
(Appointments are preferred)
-Wednesday: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
(Walk-in "Pastor's Hour" no appointment needed)
-Thursday: 10:30 am - 2:00 pm
(Appointments are preferred)
-Friday: By appointment only
-Saturday: By appointment only

Pastor's Hour
The "Pastor's Hour" is a time where anyone can come and speak with a priest about anything that they would like, without an appointment. It is open to everyone in the community, not just members of the congregation, so let any of your family, friends, or anyone who you may think might benefit from this opportunity know about this ministry. Feel free to stop by and say "Hi" and to stay for awhile and enjoy a hot or cold drink and spend some time in conversation with Fr. Glenn about whatever is on your heart or mind. Fr. Glenn's study is downstairs in the Northeast corner of the church hall. If the door happens to be closed, please feel free to make yourself a beverage in the kitchen and you may peruse the church library while you wait for him to be available.
Pastor's Hour is on Wednesday's of every week from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. (Please check the calendar below to confirm that the Pastor's Hour is indeed scheduled.)
